NICOLE ARTMONT is an Emmy® nominated professional makeup artist with nearly two decades of experience all across entertainment and beauty.
In the world of film and television, she creates unique and specific characters for the screen. Selected works include Big Little Lies, Euphoria, The Joker, Daddy’s Home, and The Morning Show. While working press, editorial, and awards season, Artmont is driven to create classic and clean looks that bring out the natural beauty in her clients. Artmont’s personal clients have included talents such as Kristen Wiig, Zoe Kravitz, Steve Carrell, Quincy Jones, Sharon Osbourne, Mandy Moore, Kevin Costner, Ellen Barkin, Vanessa Hudgens, and Ricki Lake.
As a third-generation makeup artist, Artmont carries on a family legacy that started in 1948 by her grandfather, Nick Marcellino, a two-time Primetime Emmy® nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup. Her father, Steve Artmont, a three-time Emmy® nominee for Outstanding Achievement in Makeup, inspired Artmont’s ultimate desire to learn the craft. Before his untimely death in 2017, Steve and Nicole experienced the honor of a lifetime, working alongside each other on multiple projects including the first season of Big Little Lies, for which they received an Emmy® nomination for Outstanding Makeup for a Limited Series or Movie.
Artmont’s career started in NYC where she assisted the industry pioneer, Vincent Longo. For nearly a decade, Artmont worked alongside Longo in his studio and during NYFW. During this time, Artmont learned Longo’s legendary makeup techniques which continue to inform her craft today. Artmont’s NYFW accomplishments also include working with Charlotte Tilbury, Diane Kendall, and Gucci Westman.
A member of Local 706, Artmont has spent the past two years as the union’s Craft Education Secretary, serving approximately 1,300 members. In this role, Artmont, alongside the Craft Education President, curates opportunities for members to stay informed on beauty innovations, and upcoming brand launches while encouraging community education of techniques among members.
